About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer / Data Engineer to maintain the stability, reliability, and accessibility of core software platforms that support BPHC programs and bureau operations. This role provides both administrative and technical support for enterprise applications used by staff, troubleshooting and resolving application issues while collaborating with technical services or external vendors as needed.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and capable of supporting and improving enterprise applications critical to organizational operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support core software platforms used across BPHC programs and operations.
  • Provide administrative and technical support for enterprise applications, ensuring usability and accessibility for staff.
  • Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and escalate to technical services or vendors when necessary.
  • Collaborate with IT, finance, and program teams to implement enhancements, updates, and system improvements.
  • Assist with data integration, reporting, and analytics to support program operations and decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, internal controls, and organizational policies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in software development, application support, or data engineering.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with enterprise applications, software platforms, or database systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting public sector, nonprofit, or healthcare software systems.
  • Knowledge of application integration, data pipelines, and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with vendor management and technical escalation processes.

Pay: $101, $122,275.42 per year
