Delivery Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have experience in driving and handling various types of delivery vehicles, including box trucks. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to excellent service while adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and care of items during transit.
Navigate designated routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries to customers.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
Perform heavy lifting and moving of products as required, ensuring safety practices are followed.
Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for loading and unloading tasks.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered during the process.
Experience
Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
Customer service experience is essential for interacting positively with clients.
Warehouse experience is a plus, particularly in inventory management or logistics.
Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safe driving practices is required.
Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
Skills in route driving and knowledge of local areas can enhance efficiency in deliveries.
