D.P. Nicoli is seeking a seasoned and strategic Regional Operations Manager to lead multi-branch operations across Western Washington. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about building high-performing teams, optimizing operational systems, and driving regional growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Leadership & Strategy
  • Oversee daily operations across multiple branches, ensuring alignment with company goals and service standards.
  • Lead, coach, and develop local Dispatchers, Drivers and Yard teams.
  • Facilitate employee development planning and performance reviews across the region.
  • Champion safety, compliance, and operational excellence initiatives.

  • Operational Oversight

  • Manage rental fleet reputation, reliability, and maintenance schedules (trucks, booms, forklifts).
  • Coordinate internal and external repairs, including wide load permits and DVIR compliance.
  • Oversee property and rolling stock maintenance, including vendor relationships and service contracts.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to the DPN Operations Manual and company policies.

  • Process & Systems Management

  • Lead cycle count reconciliation, order audits, and inventory accuracy across locations.
  • Track and validate timecards, headcount, overtime, and meal periods via Paycom.
  • Maintain and improve dispatch systems, including Baseplan, Smartsheet, and SQL reporting tools.
  • Ensure consistent use of safety training, certifications, and compliance tracking (KPA, CPR/First Aid, Competent Person).

  • Communication & Collaboration

  • Effectively develop a customer service–oriented approach throughout the operations team, ensuring responsiveness, professionalism, and a solutions-first mindset in all internal and external interactions.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between operations and sales leadership.
  • Lead regional operations meetings and contribute to annual operations training.
  • Develop internal training resources and videos to support dispatcher and yard staff development.
  • Represent operations in cross-functional initiatives and strategic planning.

What You Bring:

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in operations, dispatch, or logistics—preferably in construction, rental, or industrial services.
  • Proven ability to lead multi-site teams and manage complex logistics.
  • Strong understanding of dispatch systems, inventory controls, and maintenance workflows for trucks and boom cranes.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Familiarity with trench shoring and slide rail is a plus.
  • CPR/First Aid, Forklift, and Competent Person certifications preferred.
