Description: Title I Tutor

Job Summary: This assignment is for the School Year Only. Position is federally funded.

The Title I Tutor promotes and develops successful students and performs related duties in accordance with Federal Title I guidelines and District policies.

Teach small groups of children using Title I resources

Use a variety of assessments to identify students for placement into the Title I program and to monitor their progress throughout the year

Work cooperatively with the classroom teachers

Confer with teachers and parents regarding student progress

Complete all reports and records required by Title I

Attend/participate in Title I trainings and meetings

Qualifications: PK-3, PK-5, K-8 or 1-8, K-12 Reading Endorsement Licensure.

Must meet Highly Qualified Status criteria.

Working Conditions: Up to 25 hours per week

$32.00 per hour
