We are a full-service food and facilities management company founded in 1975. The Nutrition Group's family of support services includes K-12 Meal Services, Commissary, Custodial and Maintenance Management, Business and Industry, and Consulting. Currently, we operate in Florida, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, South Carolina and Virginia.

About the Job:

This position will be working in a local production/commercial kitchen. 

Duties may include:

  • Cooking and food preparation
  • Portioning and packaging meals 
  • Sanitation in conjunction with USDA and state guidelines. 
  • HAACP and health department regulation compliance
  • Assisting to monitor costs and inventory controls.

Qualifications:

  • A positive and consistent work ethic
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • A willingness to learn and grow within your position
  • Food service experience preferred
  • Ability to do basic math and read recipes
  • Computer literacy preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Background check required

Physical Requirements May Include:

  • Standing for long periods of time
  • Sitting, pushing, pulling
  • Lifting up to and in excess of 40lbs
  • Walking
