Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Interacts with the children to support play, exploration, and learning.
  • Completes and executes age-appropriate lesson plans along Goddard guidelines.
  • Works well with co-teachers and can lead others in guiding the room.
  • Communicates effectively with parents.
  • Has a strong work attendance record.
  • Participates in staff and training meetings.
  • Positive team player that brings a calm presence to the room and school.
  • Able to complete the physical requirements of the position. Infant teachers must be able to easily get up off the ground, bend over to pick-up children appropriately, lift 20 pounds or more, and be agile on their feet.
