Mechanic

Location: 837 S. Pacific Ave., San Pedro, CA 90731
Pay: $29.01 – $53.60 per hour effective rate (hourly + commission + overtime)

 Mechanic:Diagnose and perform brake jobs (disc/drum, lathe work)Handle suspension repairs (struts, shocks, control arms)Perform alignments and steering system repairsReplace under-hood components (water pumps, alternators, radiators, belts, hoses)Mount, dismount, and balance tiresPerform oil changes and preventative maintenanceTest and install batteriesKeep shop organized, stocked, and safeWhat Makes You a Great Fit2–3 years of professional mechanical experienceSkilled in brakes, suspension, steering, and alignmentsValid driver's license, clean record, and ability to lift 70 lbsDetail-oriented and team-drivenMotivated to push into diagnostics and leadershipOpen availability, including weekends, to handle repairs and keep guests safely on the road during our busiest timesAbout Big Brand Tire & Service
