Private Practice Licensed Therapist

The licensed therapist will provide outpatient individual therapy to clients at Monarch Behavioral Health. The Licensed Therapist is responsible for providing high quality therapeutic services to clients across the state of Texas, in both the in-office and telehealth settings. The Licensed Therapist's therapeutic approach shall be rooted in the practice's values, including providing a warm, safe judgement-free environment where clients feel supported talking openly about the challenges they face, growth can be cultivated, and suffering is reduced. The Licensed Therapist should have, or be in the process of developing, one or more niche specializations for counseling services (i.e., children, teens, trauma, anxiety, grief, anger management, etc.). We are looking for licensed professionals (Psy.D./Ph.D. Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Psychological Associates (LPA), LPCs, LMFTs, LCSWs, LMSWs), and post-doctoral fellows who want to be a part of a thriving group practice that offers mentoring, teamwork, self-discovery, and growth as a clinician. We are currently looking for child and adolescent therapists or counselors who are ready to be a part of a dynamic, fun, and collaborative team.
Part-time Clinicians
are expected to be available 20 hours per week to schedule an average of 16 sessions per week or 64 sessions per month (only fully licensed clinicians are eligible for part-time employment at MBH).
Full-time Clinicians
are expected to be available 30 hours per week to schedule an average of 25 sessions per week or 100 sessions per month.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Perform on-site clinical counseling services to clients of the practice, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies.
- Conduct and regulate counseling services in a professional manner so as to maintain and increase the goodwill and reputation of the practice.
- Abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for the practice.
- Respond to patients' requests for service or calls within established timeframes whether such requests are made in person, by phone, voicemail, etc.
- Respond to such requests by meeting, evaluating, and providing services to such patients.
- Complete required clinical documentation including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents that may be needed or required from time to time by Monarch Behavioral Health or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient within established timeframes.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient files, records, plans, and reports.
- Communicate and collaborate with a patient's treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as necessary.
- Participate in staff meetings, group supervision, training sessions, as offered or required by the practice
- Collaborate with colleagues/team members in support of the team's growth and development
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Strong working knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.

- Required Experience & Education:
- Master's Degree or Doctoral Degree in counseling or social work; and
- Active, unrestricted license counseling in the State of Texas (must be fully licensed).

- Maintain compliance with safety and health guidelines to prevent the spread of communicable diseases when working in close proximity.
- Employees in this job are regularly required to sit for extended periods of time.
- Employees in this position are required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, grasp, reach with hands or arms.
- Occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.
- This position requires 30-32 work hours per week (25 client sessions per week).
- Therapists must work wither 2 evenings per week (4-7pm) or 1 evening + 1 weekend day (6 hours) to accommodate clients' scheduling needs.
This position is primarily office-based (60%); but some work may be performed from home (up to 40%).
