We are seeking a Junior Quality Engineer with strong experience in electrical or electro-mechanical assembly, PCBA, and wiring/harnessing to support our growing production environment. This role focuses on non-conformance management, MRB support, and hands-on problem solving not audits or mechanical assembly. The ideal candidate understands how to identify defects, document them clearly, and help drive disposition decisions by anticipating what is required to fix the issue.

  • You can clearly explain the MRB process and the lifecycle of a rejected part.
  • You identify defects accurately and understand what goes into fixing them.
  • You anticipate questions, gather the right information upfront, and reduce friction for engineering.
  • You consistently drive non-conformance issues to closure and help keep production moving.

Responsibilities:

  • Experience in electrical or electro-mechanical assembly, PCBA inspection, wiring harness inspection/assembly, or similar hands-on environments.
  • Familiarity with MRB or non-conformance processes: understanding what happens when a part is rejected and what steps occur from start to finish.
  • Ability to go beyond inspection—someone who can identify a problem and drive it to completion.
  • Understanding of how electrical components can fail and what typical rework or repair paths look like.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate what information engineers or technicians will need to disposition an issue.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with incomplete information and ambiguity.
  • Strong communication skills across engineering, operations, and quality.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience in aerospace or high-reliability industries.
  • Familiarity with electrical quality standards (IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-620, etc.).
  • Experience writing and processing defect tags or non-conformance reports.
  • Exposure to electro-mechanical troubleshooting or rework processes.
