SUMMARY

The Warehouse Associate is responsible and accountable for the safe, timely and accurate completion of the assigned warehouse and delivery work schedule.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Verify daily workload schedule and complete as indicated.

· Unload incoming trailers and load outbound trucks for product delivery.

· Unload trucks at construction sites, buildings and residential home projects.

· Receive local incoming shipments of product and material.

· Use RF scanner.

· Drive a forklift/picker.

· Drive a Delivery Van

· Check assembly quality and adhere to corporate assembly standards.

· Communicate back ordered or damaged product on orders.

· Clean shop and warehouse daily.

· Other duties as assigned.

· High school diploma or GED.

· Ability to drive a forklift/picker.

· Excellent verbal and communication skills, the ability to effectively communicate with customers that may be confrontational, diplomacy in working with both internal and external constituencies.

· Ability to problem solve and think outside of the box.

· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and communicate such facts.

· Ability to interpret variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.

· Ability to navigate in a Microsoft Windows environment, including finding files in a directory structure, opening/saving/closing files, opening multiple programs and navigating between separate windows/files.

· Experience with warehouse management software.

· Is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee will frequently encounter heavy lifting. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
