Job Description:
The Program Management Excellence (PMX) team within the Maritime Sector is looking to fill a Functional Lead role. The successful candidate should be an experienced Program Manager and/or Finance Manager who is well-versed in People, Process, and Tools best practices within the Aerospace & Defense industry. The successful candidate will serve as the enabler for Finance execution across all programs in the sector. The candidate must be able to lead cross-functionally with the other members of the Maritime PMX staff, Finance functional partners and the sector's IPTs to drive predictable program performance.

Essential Functions:

• Drive predictable performance across all sector programs for the Finance function
• Partner with programs and Finance function to ensure executable baseline plan (cost and schedule)
• Drive program baseline planning for the Finance function
• Manage training for the program finance
• Partner with program and Finance function to ensure IPT lead / CAM excellence
• Partner with Finance to drive robust EVMS within programs
• Serve as advocate for Finance functional initiatives within sector programs
• Support Gate and Independent Reviews for the sector
• Support program R&O management
• Support programs with EAC/ETC development, review, and approval
• Support various Sector and Division reviews
• Ensure appropriate Finance staffing for program proposals, baseline activities, and execution
• Enforce Finance policy and process requirements within programs
• Support continuous improvement projects
• Coordinates support of internal and customer audits
• Coordinates and adjudicates PMX support priorities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years of experience
• or post-graduate degree and 10 years of experience
• or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 16 years of prior related experience
• Ability to obtain Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance
• 10+ years of prior experience in Aerospace & Defense program management, Finance management and EVMS
• Demonstrated ability to present to executives/management on important topics
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, identify problems and propose solutions
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, across geographically-dispersed teams
• Ability to Travel at least 15%

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance
• Prior experience managing Profit & Loss (P&L)
• Prior experience managing direct reports
• Prior experience providing instructional training to program team(s)
• Ability to Travel – up to 50%

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado State, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont and New York State is $130K-$242K. For California, New Jersey, Seattle, Washington D.C., Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area, the city of Denver, Washington State and New York City, the salary range for this role is $150-$278K. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
