Senior Technical Recruiter

Location: Hudson Yards, NYC

We're looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter to help scale our growing portfolio of engineering, AI, and product hires across multiple early-stage companies. You'll play a pivotal role in building technical teams from the ground up, sourcing, pitching, and closing exceptional talent.

This is not a reactive recruiting role. It's a strategic, high-impact position where you'll partner directly with founders, hiring managers, and operators to shape team structure, sourcing strategy, and candidate experience.

TriEdge Investments is a family office and technology company based in New York. We make concentrated investments in a few companies. We also incubate technology companies to solve the problems our investment team observes in our portfolio companies. In this sense, we've proven it's a true industry problem. • Own end-to-end recruiting for high-priority technical roles across tech (AI/ML, Product, Data Science, Development, etc).

• Build and nurture pipelines of passive candidates through creative outreach, talent mapping, and market research

• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand team needs, define profiles, and calibrate on quality

• Write compelling outreach messages and pitch our startups with clarity, insight, and enthusiasm

• Conduct screening calls and assess for technical depth, trajectory, and startup fit

• Track candidate data, metrics, and pipeline health using our ATS (Ashby)

• Deliver a thoughtful, white-glove candidate experience from first touch through close

• Share insights on talent trends, compensation, and competitive intelligence to inform strategy

• Collaborate on employer brand and recruiting content where helpful

• Contribute to refining and evolving our recruiting playbook

• 5+ years of experience in technical recruiting

• 1+ years in a staffing/agency or AI startup environment

• Experience hiring for engineering, data, and product roles

• Proficiency in sourcing tools and strategies (LinkedIn Recruiter, JuiceBox, Boolean/X-ray, GitHub, etc.)

• Deep understanding of technical skill sets, stacks, and startup hiring signals

• Strong communication and storytelling skills, you can pitch the mission, not just the job

• Comfortable juggling multiple searches, tight timelines, and shifting priorities

• Familiarity with modern ATS platforms (Ashby Experience a plus)

• High EQ, strong follow-through, and a low-ego, team-first mentality

The annual base salary range for this position is $150,000-$185,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based upon work experience, and/or skill level, among other things.
