You'll serve as the central point of coordination between clients, installers, internal teams, and job sites—ensuring every project runs smoothly and delivers exceptional results. This is a highly organized, leadership-oriented role ideal for someone who thrives on responsibility, planning, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead weekly meetings with internal teams and participate in planning and coordination sessions with department and site leads.
  • Monitor daily project progress through job site visits and team check-ins, identifying and addressing potential delays or issues.
  • Communicate with General Contractors (GCs) to manage project expectations, resolve issues, and track start dates or changes.
  • Oversee the execution of installations, ensuring teams follow architectural plans, product specifications, and quality standards.
  • Manage change orders in collaboration with Account Managers and GCs; ensure proper documentation and billing.
  • Track labor hours and material usage daily through BusyBusy, managing budgets and productivity metrics.
  • Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are delivered, used efficiently, and accounted for at each job site.
  • Conduct quality inspections throughout the project and initiate punch lists as needed to correct deficiencies.
  • Facilitate project closeouts, including walkthroughs, returns, final documentation, and post-project debriefs with the team.
  • Document progress and reporting in Pipedrive and Google Drive to ensure complete project records are maintained, including ensuring the foreman thoroughly documents installation progress with detailed photos and notes in BusyBusy.
  • Support and lead foremen and installers, addressing questions, coaching on expectations, and recognizing high performance.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience managing construction or flooring installation projects.
  • Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with project tracking and time management tools (e.g., Pipedrive, BusyBusy, Google Workspace).
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and takeoff plans.

  • Proven problem-solving skills and decision-making based on data.
  • Willingness to travel to local job sites as needed.
  • Experience working in the flooring or construction industry.
  • Familiarity with subcontractor management and vendor coordination.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and job site compliance.
  • Experience managing change orders and budget tracking.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Requires occasional bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs or ladders on job sites.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted (e.g., flooring materials, tools).
  • Requires visual acuity to read blueprints, measure materials, and assess installation quality.
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including hot/cold temperatures, dust, and noise.
  • Use of PPE (e.g., safety vest, hard hat, gloves) is required during all site visits.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to job sites.
