New Beginnings Window and Door is seeking a skilled and experienced Glass Technician and Windows Installer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for the installation and repair of glass and windows set in a variety of structures including both residential and commercial properties. The incumbent will work in a manner that ensures high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately measuring and marking glass and windows for cutting and installation.
  • Performing secure, watertight, and aesthetically pleasing installations of windows and doors.
  • Repairing or replacing broken, cracked, or chipped glass safely and efficiently.
  • Conducting site evaluations to determine necessary equipment and installation method.
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and working in a manner that ensures the safety of self and team.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times.
  • Collaborating with team members and communicating effectively with clients to ensure a smooth and efficient installation process.

Qualifications And Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, trade certification is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in glass installation or a related field is essential.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools, including equipment specific to glass and window installation.
  • Must possess a clean driving record and a valid driver's license as this role involves travel to various job sites.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and engage in prolonged periods of physical labor.
  • The candidate must have an attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
  • Must be willing to work in various weather conditions.
