Pay: Starting at $27/hour plus tips (100% if full groom, 75% with bather prep)

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Available shifts include:

• Tuesday-Sunday, 9am-5pm

Final schedule will be determined based on business needs and your availability.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Dog Groomer to join our established grooming team. This full-time position offers the stability of hourly pay combined with excellent tip earnings, along with benefits not typically found in grooming salons. You'll work with bather assistance to achieve high daily volume while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum 10+ years of professional dog grooming experience (required)
• Ability to groom at least 8 dogs per 8-hour shift
• Experience with all dog breeds and coat types
• Proficiency in complete grooming services including cuts, styling, and finishing
• Strong technical skills with grooming equipment and tools
• Excellent time management and efficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous dog grooming salon management experience
• Reception or customer service experience in pet care
• Experience with grooming software systems
• Leadership and training capabilities

Key Responsibilities

Grooming Services:

• Perform high-quality grooming services tailored to each pet's needs
• Complete full grooming cuts including bathing and drying when needed
• Work with all breeds to deliver specialized services
• Maintain safety and comfort throughout the grooming process

Client Consultation & Documentation:

• Conduct thorough intake consultations with pet owners
• Document pet information: breed, size, age, grooming history, and behavioral notes
• Assess coat condition, skin health, and overall pet wellness
• Provide accurate service quotes and explain additional fees

Facility & Equipment Management:

• Maintain cleanliness of personal grooming stations
• Sanitize equipment after each use and return products to designated areas
• Track grooming supplies and notify management for reordering
• Share room responsibility with team members
