Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction Driver and Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. This role involves various tasks on construction sites, requiring physical stamina and familiarity with construction practices and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment.
  • Perform tasks related to stucco application and concrete finishing as required.
  • Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Engage in frame construction tasks, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.
  • Support the installation of driveways and pools and hardscape features.
  • Drive a trailer and truck to move materials and ensure the construction crew always has the necessary materials.
  • Pay attention to material needs and bring the required materials to the site.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with stucco application, concrete finishing, frame carpentry, and hardscape installation is a plus.
  • Ability to operate power tools and heavy equipment safely; certification may be required for certain machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols on job sites.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods, including lifting heavy materials.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various roles within the construction process.
  • Experience in construction sales, measurements, etc., is a plus.
