We're seeking a skilled and experienced professional to support our growing drafting team. The ideal candidate for this position will use their work experience and organizational skills to primarily serve as the administrative assistant to our team of paralegals. Compensation:

$20 - $25 hourly

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Paralegal email inbox to assign and direct correspondence as needed
  • Research property deeds and prep files for attorney consultations
  • Review attorney notes and follow-up notes to draft emails for approval by the team
  • Draft and send client follow-up letters, Zoom recordings, and statutory forms
  • Review and edit client drafts, templates, and email signing instructions
  • Work closely with all members of the drafting team to ensure client emails and files are handled efficiently
  • Coordinate with in-house notary on status of signed documents, scans, mailings, etc.
  • Assist with preparing files and closing documents for clients and client mailings
  • Maintain records of fiduciaries and send copies of executed documents at the client's request
  • Keep track of requested language/edits and titling for drafting and fiduciary preferences
  • Assist in researching charity information and maintaining a file for drafting
  • Contact clients by phone or email as needed for follow-up, edits, or other items as assigned. Communicate with warmth and professionalism

Qualifications:

  • Candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have advanced paralegal education will receive preference
  • Must have great time-management skills, and organizational skills

  • Must have completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate's degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor's degree desired

  • Has experience using Canva. (preferred but not required)

  • Is proactive and a confident self-starter
  • Has excellent writing, grammar, and proofreading skills
  • Is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and eager to learn
  • Manages time effectively in a remote environment, staying productive and meeting deadlines without direct supervision
  • Is professional, friendly, and compassionate with the Special Needs community
