We're Hiring — Business Systems Administrator

Responsible for managing NetSuite and other business system configurations, user support & enablement, workflow and process optimizations. This pivotal role requires leveraging extensive knowledge of NetSuite functionalities and best practices to enhance the financial ERP system, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and drives operational eƯiciencies. The Business Systems Administrator will also play a key role in other digital transformation initiatives, including the roll out of a new operational ERP system

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administration and configuration: Administer and configure the NetSuite ERP system and other business systems to meet the evolving needs of the organization, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.

  • Analysis & Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify ERP system enhancements and streamline business processes, driving efficiency and scalability.

  • Continuous improvement: Lead the implementation of new features and functionalities, including for modules, workflows, and reports, while adhering to project timelines and budget constraints.

  • End User Support & Enablement: Provide expert-level support and training to end-users, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

  • Automation: Define and develop solutions to automate data gathering, analysis, reporting and other manual processes.

  • Testing & Maintenance: Establish change & deployment runway protocols, for example, full sandbox testing and user acceptance processing prior to production roll out. Such protocols include full change log to track version history.

  • Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance and facilitate training.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, accounting or related field. NetSuite Certification (Administrator or ERP Consultant) is also highly desirable.

  • 5+ years of experience as a NetSuite Administrator, with a proven track record of successful system implementations and upgrades.

  • Strong understanding of NetSuite modules, including but not limited to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Banking & Cash management, Order-to-Cash, etc.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex system issues and develop effective solutions.

  • High competency with financial reporting and analytics within NetSuite.

  • Experience with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteTalk for integration purposes is preferred.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of technical and non-technical skills sets (i.e. Developers, Project Managers, End Users, and External Customers/Partners)

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

  • Must be a team player with the intellectual curiosity to understand and answer questions with humility and to leverage the expertise of others
