Valet Attendant - Healthcare

Clayton Valet is seeking prompt, polite, and professional individuals who are looking to expand their career beyond a typical driving position. The Healthcare Valet position is not just about safely parking and retrieving cars. The ideal candidate will be a friendly face who displays empathy to all hospital patients and visitors.

Compensation/Benefits:

  • $14/hr - $15.75/hr + CASH TIPS
  • 401(k) 4% Match - available after 3 months of employment

Shifts Available:

Part-time with full-time potential. 40-hour weekly schedules available.

  • 7 am - 3:30 pm
  • 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
  • 9:30 am - 6 pm

Locations:

  • Creve Coeur, MO

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Effectively and efficiently park and retrieve customer vehicles without incident
  • Assist customers with any personal belongings, if requested
  • Promote good customer relations by providing service with a friendly demeanor, willingness to help, and a smile
  • Use and maintain valet equipment properly, including keeping the gear and work area clean and organized
  • Remain prompt by standing during a full shift, excluding scheduled breaks
  • Open doors for all guests
  • Observe and practice safety precautions at all times
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must pass a drug screening and criminal background check - no felonies
  • Must have a clean driving record within the last 3 years
  • Must pass a driving and parking test
  • Consistently display safe driving practices and a complete understanding of vehicle basics
  • Must be available for All Hands on Deck (AHOD) events
  • Practice safe cash handling and make correct change, if necessary
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be proficient in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Abide by HIPAA regulations at all times
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Always maintain a clean and professional appearance
  • Able to perform physical activities such as running, bending, and lifting up to 30lbs
  • Ability to work in all elements (i.e., rain, snow, sunshine)
  • Reliable transportation or understanding of MetroBus/MetroLink schedule
  • Tattoos must be concealable
