Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service in a restaurant environment. Your primary responsibilities will include operating the cash register, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Responsibilities

  • Operate the cash register and POS system efficiently and accurately.
  • Process customer transactions, including cash, credit, and debit payments.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs.
  • Assist customers with product inquiries and upselling additional items when appropriate.
  • Maintain stock levels on the sales floor and assist with restocking as needed.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant,, rest rooms, mop, vacuum, and surrounding displays.
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Utilize effective phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries.
  • Buss tables.
  • Take orders at tables as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or retail environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
  • Basic knowledge of retail math to assist with transactions and provide change accurately.
  • Ability to upsell products while maintaining a positive customer experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage stock levels effectively.
  • A friendly demeanor with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
