Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment through thorough washing and sanitizing processes
  • Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and organizing ingredients to support chefs and kitchen staff
  • Support catering and banquet events by preparing food items and ensuring all serving ware is ready for service
  • Uphold strict food handling and safety standards in compliance with health regulations
  • Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas during service to ensure a smooth flow for guests
  • Assist in general kitchen cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, trash disposal, and maintaining sanitation stations
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely food prep and efficient service during busy hours

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key
  • Familiarity with food handling procedures, cleaning protocols, and basic kitchen operations is advantageous
  • Experience with banquet or catering setups enhances your ability to support large-scale events
  • Knowledge of hospitality standards related to serving guests and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere is a plus
  • Prior kitchen or hotel experience can provide a strong foundation for success in this role
