EMPLOYMENT TERMS: 10 month position/ School year through 6/13/26  (Jennings School)

POSITION OVERVIEW: The focus of this position is on the implementation of the general education, school-based early detection, and intervention programs, Primary Project that serves children in kindergarten through Grade 3.  

 

TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To provide one on-one play- based support under the supervision of a school or community-based mental health professional  
  • Provision of individually focused child-centered play and the promotion of social development, improved self-concept, and adjustment to school. 
  • Monitoring of student progress towards goal achievement through informal parent/teacher conferences and formal progress and termination conferences 
  • Collaboration with school mental health professionals to support goals of the program 
  • Performs other duties consistent with purpose of job as directed. 
 

 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma 

 

SALARY: $18.82/hour
