On Scene Services (OSS) is a private company providing unarmed civilian response to auto crashes. Since 2017, we have been a trusted response partner of the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD). We are expanding New Orleans operations and are seeking qualified Agents to join our team.
Agents are the face of OSS. They provide efficient and effective auto crash response and investigation in accordance with OSS policies & procedures.
On Scene Services ("OSS") is the premier provider of alternative police response services for law enforcement departments across the country.
Our front-line traffic incident response team comprises personnel with experience in civilian law enforcement and traffic crash investigation. We provide an ongoing training program to enhance the abilities of our Agents, resulting in added value to the police departments we serve. We ensure that all OSS Agents are held to high professional standards of service to our clients and are well-suited for our law enforcement clients.
Responsibilities
Respond to traffic accidents in a prompt and courteous manner
Document details of traffic accidents, including taking photos, obtaining witness statements, and completing official crash reports via computer
Interface with drivers, witnesses, and other parties at the scene
Provide traffic incident management at scenes when needed
REQUIRED Qualifications
- PRIOR TRAFFIC AND/OR PATROL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Even though we greatly value Security Guards, we are specifically looking for current or prior Law Enforcement Officers who work(ed) for a police department, sheriff department, or state agency and participated in crash investigations.
Prior or current position/job disposition must be good standing with respective Law Enforcement Agencies
A clear CJIS/MVR background check is required.
Additional Qualifications
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to work 8-12 hour shifts sometime between 6am - midnight
Moderate computer abilities
Previous experience responding to and documenting automobile accidents
Must have a valid Driver's License
Must be able to pass a background check (criminal, driving, drug testing)
Bonus Skills (not required, but valued)
- Bilingual, primarily Spanish
