About the Role

The Reservations Agent serves as a key point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently managing reservations and resolving time-sensitive issues. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls and emails promptly and professionally.
  • Assist customers with new reservations, changes, cancellations, and refunds.
  • Collect and process payments accurately.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to timesensitive situations with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Remain calm and composed during adverse or highpressure conditions.
  • Resolve practical problems in situations with limited standardization.
  • Learn and navigate computerized reservation systems to support customer inquiries and bookings.
  • Provide effective conflict resolutions for internal and external customer concerns.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of customer bookings and personal information.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining focus amid distractions.
  • Deliver legendary customer service, ensuring decisions align with both customer satisfaction and company interests.

Required Qualifications
  • Excellent proficiency in English with strong verbal, written, and listening skills.
  • High level of accuracy in data entry with strong attention to detail.
  • Proven customer service experience.
  • Prior airline reservations and reservation system experience preferred (Sabre, Interact, Videcom).
  • Technologically savvy with experience using professional software systems.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and varied hours.
  • Basic knowledge of Alaska geography preferred.
  • Ability to work onsite and commute reliably.
