The RFID & NFC Project Lead will drive process improvement initiatives and align product capabilities with evolving customer requirements. This individual will serve as the central point of coordination between internal engineering teams, operations leaders, and key customer stakeholders. The RFID and NFC Project Lead will have a strong technical background in RFID/NFC technologies and a passion for enhancing operational efficiency and delivering tailored customer solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional projects focused on the design, development, and implementation of RFID & NFC solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between customers, sales application engineers, and development teams to translate customer needs into actionable technical specifications.
  • Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements that enhance product performance, manufacturing efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets; monitor project progress and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support pre-sales activities, including technical presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Gather and interpret customer feedback to inform roadmap planning and feature prioritization.
  • Ensure all solutions meet industry standards, compliance requirements, and internal quality benchmarks.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and project contributors as needed.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree (A.A.) or equivalent to a four-year college or technical school; or 3-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in RFID/NFC technologies, with a strong understanding of both hardware and software components.
  • Technical leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all cross-functional departments.
  • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and system optimization.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to NFC and RFID technology.
  • Project management experience and proficiency in relevant tools and methodologies is desired.
