Apex Order Pickup Solutions is looking for an Assembly Technicianto join the team at our warehouse located in Mason, Ohio. This is an opportunity to join an upbeat and exciting organization while providing warehouse support for new system installs, staging, and parts fulfillment. You will become the professional interface to Apex sales and customer support.

What you will do:

  • Construct components or products based on technical drawings and specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Operate various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Preform diagnostic tests and inspections on assembled goods to ensure they meet quality standards before they are shipped.
  • Perform in-process and final inspection on product.
  • Communicate with the supervisor on product performance and functionality issues, including giving suggestions on updating documentation for improved quality and efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Conduct incoming materials inspections on warehouse shipments.
  • Performing cycle counts and other inventory control procedures.
  • Deliver materials, supplies, parts, equipment and all other merchandise to all facility locations.
  • Transport materials using pallet jack and forklift, training provided if needed

What You'll Bring:

  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks.
  • The ability to effectively and professionally work under pressure, in a team-oriented environment, with frequent changes in deadlines and priorities.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy components as needed. (Lift up to 50 lbs. for as much as 2 hrs. /day)
  • Proficiency with computers using Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook is also required.
  • Proficient with measurement equipment (e.g. calipers, micrometer).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Electromechanical experience a plus
