Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Mortgage Loan Officer located in Boise, ID, with opportunities for partial remote work. The Mortgage Loan Officer will be responsible for assisting clients in understanding and selecting appropriate mortgage products, evaluating and processing loan applications, and ensuring compliance with underwriting standards. The role involves building relationships with borrowers, realtors, and other stakeholders to facilitate the mortgage process and provide an excellent customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Loan Officer responsibilities and expertise in Mortgage Lending practices
  • Strong understanding of the Mortgage Industry and Underwriting processes
  • Exceptional Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build trusted client relationships
  • Knowledge of federal and state compliance standards related to mortgage lending
  • Proven sales and negotiation abilities within the financial or mortgage sector
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple loan files and meet deadlines
  • Licensure as required by the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
  • Prior experience in the mortgage or banking industry is preferred
