Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service in the hospitality industry.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities according to established standards.
- Conduct floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist in laundry services as needed, ensuring linens and towels are clean and well-presented.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness in accordance with hotel or facility policies.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries professionally.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles is preferred; hotel experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
- Familiarity with floor care methods and industrial cleaning practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service.
