Who We Are

We are a growing early childhood program rooted in Montessori principles for the Primary program, also known as Casa dei Bambini, for children ages 3 to 6. We blend a traditional Montessori work cycle and prepared environment with an intentional kinetic layer.

Alongside Montessori lessons, we incorporate movement and physical challenges to help children build physical resilience. We believe physical resilience supports confidence, and confidence supports mental resilience and emotional steadiness.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead a mixed-age Montessori Primary classroom for ages 3 to 6 with a peaceful tone and clear routines
  • Maintain a beautiful, orderly prepared environment including materials care, cleanliness, flow, and safety
  • Present Montessori lessons across Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Math, and Cultural Studies
  • Integrate intentional movement and physical resilience-building into the weekly rhythm such as balance, coordination, strength, body awareness, safe risk-taking, and obstacle-style play
  • Observe children daily, track progress, and adjust lessons and support based on development and needs
  • Support social-emotional growth through grace and courtesy, independence, and community responsibility
  • Communicate consistently with families through warm, professional updates and conferences as needed
  • Collaborate with leadership and teammates to strengthen classroom systems, culture, and program quality
  • Option to participate in summer programming for additional income

Nice to Haves

  • You play a musical instrument and enjoy bringing music into the classroom
  • You can create and lead a simple yoga and movement class for young children, either in the classroom or at a nearby park
