Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Sales Rep/ Delivery Driver to oversee delivery routes and increase sales on a daily basis with customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient route management, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales through effective communication and upselling techniques. This role requires a combination of strong organizational skills, commercial driving experience, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Conduct pricing assessments and implement strategies for upselling products during deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inventory, and customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for growth in existing accounts.
  • Perform merchandising duties to ensure product visibility and availability at customer locations.
  • Uphold safety standards while driving and handling products, including heavy lifting as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to foster positive relationships.
  • Assist with inventory as the store manager and lead sales person directs.
  • Knowledge of auto or boat detail products is a large plus. Please mention this when applying.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in route driving or commercial driving is essential.
  • Strong math skills for pricing calculations and inventory management.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with customers and team members effectively.
  • Previous experience in sales or upselling is preferred.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Military experience is a plus, demonstrating discipline and leadership capabilities.

Hours Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.

Commission is offered after the training period is complete and a minimum weekly sales total is met. A vehicle will be provided for working hours and gas will be paid. Please disclose any criminal history or accidents that may show up on your report. We would prefer to know up front. We are looking for a dependable person to join our team and help the business grow.

Job Type: Full-time
