Job Summary

We are seeking a Networking Architect to lead the design of next-generation networking subsystems for embedded and cloud-connected platforms. This role focuses on Layer 2/3 networking, security, virtualization, and containerized environments supporting complex infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define architecture for networking subsystems supporting embedded platforms.
  • Design Layer 2/3 network solutions including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and security.
  • Develop networking frameworks for virtualization and containerized environments.
  • Enable tooling and automation for network deployment and operations.
  • Document architecture decisions, risks, and non-functional requirements.
  • Review and improve existing networking designs.
  • Collaborate with platform architects and engineering teams.
  • Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies, PI planning, and architecture reviews.
  • Create architecture diagrams, design documents, and test reports.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field.
  • 9+ years of experience in networking architecture for complex systems.
  • Expert knowledge of
    Layer 2/3 networking
    , routing, and security.
  • Strong experience with
    Linux networking
    (VLAN, VXLAN, IPv4/IPv6, routing, firewalls, QoS, multicast).
  • Proficiency with networking protocols and tools (OSPF, BGP, VPN, SDN, iptables).
  • Experience with
    virtualization and containers
    (Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift).
  • Knowledge of commercial networking equipment (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, F5).
  • Experience with
    Agile / SAFe
    methodologies.
  • Strong communication and technical leadership skills.

Nice to Have

  • AWS cloud networking experience (VPC, VPN, SDN).
  • CI/CD and DevOps exposure.
  • Experience with architecture documentation tools (Confluence, Visio, ).
