The base will not be issuing passes to those that do not have a REAL IDShort Description: Under the general supervision of the Project Manager, and the direct supervision of the on site supervisor provides a variety of cleaning and building services in public space areas and work space areas. Secondary supervision by the Contracts Administrator.Essential Functions: Comply with all Agency policies and procedures and follow contract specificationsComply with uniform dress code and personal hygiene standardsClean all assigned areas in accordance with the contract specificationsClean and disinfect restrooms and washable surfaces in public areasDescale showers, toilet bowls, and urinalsKeep restrooms supplied with required paper products and soapPerform routine glass and mirror cleaningScrub tile and wash wallsVacuum area rugs and carpets; sweep and mop floorsPull trash and recycling and place in proper receptaclesDust various surfaces, polish furniture and metal, clean glass tabletopsClean and disinfect kitchenettes and break roomsClean and disinfect fitness centers, health centers, and child care centersClean walls, partitions, window blinds, and window sills as required by contractClean corners, crevices, moldings, ledges, door jams, metal strips, and overhead surfacesClean elevators, escalators, and stairwellsClean and police building exteriors, garages, and janitor closetsKeep tools and supplies clean and orderlyEmpty and clean any public ashtrays and urnsSpot clean, service restrooms, and police trashPerform or assist with special restoration work, as requiredMove, arrange, and lift heavy itemsComply with rules for the site, security and safety guidelines and Chimes Rules For The WorkplacePerform emergency cleaningAttend work regularly and report on timeAttend required meetings and in-service trainingPass and comply with all building and security requirements and procedures Secondary Functions:Assist with inventoryClean and maintain equipmentStrip, refinish, wax, burnish, buff floors, and shampoo carpets as required by contractMaintain floors including porches and steps at entrancesAssist with special events by setting up and taking down furnitureRemove snow and ice from exterior areas as required by contractPerform other duties and tasks as needed*Duties, responsibilities, and tasks may change at any time with or without noticePhysical Abilities Needed to Meet Work Demands:Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time      Ability to go up and down stairs       Ability to reach above the head, bend, kneel, and stoopAbility to lift, carry, and push up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. as neededAbility to work in dusty spaces or adverse weather conditionsAbility to see details on the floor, above the head, or on surfacesJob Competencies Needed for Success on the Job: Ability to work with limited direct supervisionAbility to follow directions and focus on tasks Ability to report problems or relate informationAbility to understand and comply with safety procedures and environmental requirementsAbility to use and care for equipment and cleaning supplies properlyAbility to operate machinery without posing a safety hazard to self or othersAbility to notice and report changes in work space conditionsAbility to notify supervisor when equipment or supplies are needed to perform taskAbility to complete tasks in a timely manner with numerous interruptionsAbility to attend work regularly according to assigned schedule and company policiesAbility to work a flexible schedule as required—days, nights, holidays, and weekendsAbility to attend and participate in training and work related meetingsAbility to deal with others in a positive, enthusiastic, respectful, and courteous mannerAbility to comply with all building, security, and company policies and proceduresEssential Personnel: This position is designated as essential.
