Overview
A large healthcare enterprise in the Lebanon, NH area is seeking a Senior Cisco Network Engineer with strong hands-on experience in enterprise network operations. This role involves advanced installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure, with emphasis on next-generation firewalls and wireless control systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Install, configure, and support advanced LAN/WAN deployments including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless technologies.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware, circuits, and security/networking systems.
• Maintain technical documentation and network diagrams.
• Perform equipment upgrades, testing, diagnostics, and validation.
• Communicate proactively during incidents and planned maintenance.
• Work across engineering, operations, and clinical support teams.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
• Uphold enterprise standards, policies, and security procedures.
Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years supporting enterprise Cisco networks in a large-scale environment.
• Strong expertise with:
o Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, NX-OS
o Cisco DNA Center
o Cisco ISE / NAC
o Cisco Wireless Controllers
o Cisco Firepower / Threat Defense (FP/TD)
o InfoBlox IPAM, DNS, DHCP
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP,
• Experience with Splunk, Cisco Umbrella, WAN carriers, and Cisco VoIP is a plus.
• Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Splunk) strongly preferred.
• Excellent diagnostic, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs when needed.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience (minimum 7 years of network management).
