The Music Academy of Port St. Lucie is seeking a passionate and reliable Drum Instructor to join our growing team of music educators. We are looking for someone who can begin teaching immediately and is committed to inspiring students of all ages and skill levels through engaging, fun, and effective drum lessons.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach private and/or group drum lessons to students ranging from beginner to intermediate level
  • Customize lesson plans to meet individual student goals, learning styles, and interests
  • Prepare students for recitals, performances, or personal milestones
  • Maintain clear communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress
  • Track attendance and keep basic lesson records
  • Promote a positive, professional, and encouraging learning environment

Qualifications:

  • Strong background in drumming and music education
  • Previous teaching experience (private or group) preferred
  • Ability to work with young children, teens, and adults
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality are a must
  • Friendly, patient, and enthusiastic personality
  • Bachelor's degree in music or equivalent experience preferred but not required
