Join Astar as a Lead Residential Electrical Installer

Astar is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Residential Electrical Installer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a licensed Wireman, Journeyman, or Master Electrician with at least 3 years of experience in residential electrical work, with the ability to manage installation projects and mentor junior team members.

This is not a service tech role — this is a dedicated installation position handling residential service calls and some light commercial work.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform residential and light commercial electrical installations, including panel upgrades, rewires, EV chargers, lighting systems, generators, and more
  • Interpret and follow electrical diagrams, plans, and work orders
  • Lead a team on job sites, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Ensure all work complies with NEC and local codes
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with homeowners and team members
  • Train and mentor apprentices/ helpers
  • Keep job sites organized, clean, and safe

Requirements:

  • Licensed Wireman, Journeyman, or Master Electrician (Required)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential installations
  • Strong understanding of code requirements and best practices
  • Ability to work independently and manage install crews
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
