Job Overview:

BLT currently has an opening in the Cleveland office for a mid-level Associate Attorney with 4+ years of experience to join the Litigation Practice Group, working on commercial litigation involving financial services, complex financial transactions, business disputes, including contract, insurance coverage, real estate, franchise, and regulatory cases.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day-to-day tasks as well as the strategic process of case management.
  • Manage cases from inception through discovery and trial preparation.
  • Attend depositions, settlement conferences, and other hearings.
  • Prepare motions, discovery responses, and client reports.
  • Assist in trial preparation including strategy, discovery, records review, client interview, and witness preparation.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of commercial litigation experience required.
  • Experience taking and defending depositions.
  • Superior analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100, $150,000.00 per year
