Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
  • Manage cash register operations, including processing payments and handling cash accurately.
  • Engage with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally to maintain satisfaction.

Experience

  • Previous experience in bartending or the food industry is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar cash handling systems is a plus.
  • Basic math skills are essential for managing transactions accurately.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is important for maintaining health standards.
  • Strong time management skills to efficiently serve customers during peak hours.
  • Experience in a nightclub or high-energy environment is beneficial.
  • Understanding of retail math concepts related to inventory management is helpful.
  • A passion for brewing or mixology can enhance the guest experience.
