Sante Health System in Fresno, CA is looking to hire a full-time Senior Accountant to assist with all aspects of the Sante Physicians IPA Finance department. This position will prepare financial analysis needed to conduct and support assigned client's operations, work on the weekly/monthly check runs for assigned clients and prepare the monthly financial statements for assigned clients. Responsibilities include maintaining accounting books and records, preparing financial analysis, maintaining appropriate client contacts and proactively serving assigned clients.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate's degree or a more advanced degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
  • 3-5 years of finance/accounting or related experience
  • Healthcare experience is a plus
  • Must possess a valid drivers' license and proof of insurance

Candidates should have exceptional people and communication skills, be highly skilled in multi-tasking in a fast paced environment, a commitment to achieving a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and a no-task-too-small approach to the work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Liaison between Finance and other company departments
  • Must be able to clearly communicate with clients/providers when necessary
  • Accurately prepare monthly financial statements in a timely manner
  • Prepare the reconciliation of the monthly capitation reports from the health plans
  • Prepare the monthly journal entries and workpapers
  • Work on the weekly/monthly check runs for assigned clients
  • Work closely with various departments to resolve Finance related issues
  • Other duties as assigned
