As a Loan Officer, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through the loan process, ensuring they receive the best financial solutions tailored to their needs. What you'll do

  • Engage with clients to assess their financial needs and provide personalized loan options.
  • Process loan applications efficiently, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and verified.
  • Conduct thorough credit analysis to determine borrower eligibility and risk assessment.
  • Negotiate loan terms and conditions with clients while maintaining compliance with TILA (Truth in Lending Act) regulations.
  • Collaborate with underwriting teams to facilitate timely loan approvals and closings.
  • Provide ongoing support and exceptional customer service throughout the loan lifecycle, from application to closing.

Basic qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Loan Officer or in a similar financial services role.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage products, underwriting processes, and escrow procedures.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a knack for closing deals effectively.

Preferred qualifications

  • Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and compliance standards.
  • Experience in financial sales or banking environments is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of contracts related to loan agreements and mortgage servicing.
