Job Summary

We are on the lookout for a proactive and skilled HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our property maintenance team. In this role, you'll be the go-to expert for keeping heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems running smoothly. Your hands-on expertise will ensure our facilities remain comfortable, efficient, and safe for everyone. Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, boilers, and plumbing infrastructure.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools like ohmmeters.
  • Conduct equipment repairs including welding, appliance repair, and mechanical component replacements to minimize downtime.
  • Install new HVAC systems or upgrade existing setups with attention to HVAC design specifications and property requirements.
  • Maintain detailed service records and reports of work performed for compliance and future reference.
  • Assist with field service operations by troubleshooting on-site issues efficiently and safely.
  • Support property maintenance tasks such as plumbing repairs, boiler servicing, and general mechanical upkeep to ensure optimal building performance.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC/R or related mechanical fields is essential.
  • Familiarity with construction processes and schematics interpretation is highly valued.
  • Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is a plus.
  • Knowledge of HVAC design principles, air conditioning systems, and boiler operation is required.
  • Mechanical knowledge spanning plumbing, appliance repair, welding, and equipment repair enhances your effectiveness in this role.
  • Previous field service experience working directly at client sites or property facilities is preferred.
