Overview:
Gartner is seeking an experienced and well-rounded technology executive to lead our Digital Platform Technology organization, which powers the digital delivery of Gartner's insights to C-level executives worldwide. This role is critical to the success of our $4 billion Business Technology Insights business and reports directly to Gartner's Global CIO.
What You'll Do:
- Lead a global team of 250+ engineers and engineering leaders responsible for Gartner's product technology platforms.
- Drive the development and transformation of consumer-grade web and mobile platforms that deliver world-class digital experiences.
- Partner closely with Product leadership to innovate and scale platforms that enable Gartner's growth and retention strategies.
- Ensure technology outcomes align with business objectives, balancing innovation with operational excellence.
- Champion the adoption of AI, ML, NLP, and emerging technologies to create an AI-enabled product portfolio.
- Communicate effectively at all levels—providing technical guidance to engineering teams and strategic insights to senior executives.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 10-15 years of experience as a Technology leader directing the efforts of a team of Software Engineers globally.
- Proven experience leading large-scale engineering organizations (250+ globally) and driving platform transformation in the consumer web space.
- Strong technical leadership combined with business acumen to deliver measurable outcomes.
- Expertise in AI, ML, NLP, and building AI-driven products and platforms.
- Deep experience in content publishing and content creation platforms, ideally in digital media, news, or rich media environments.
- Demonstrated success in developing scalable content delivery systems, personalization engines, and recommendation algorithms.
- Familiarity with video streaming, rich media workflows, and digital asset management.
- Track record of leveraging data-driven insights and AI technologies to enhance user engagement and product performance.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence at both technical and executive levels.
Executive Leadership:
- Experience working directly with C-Suite executives in a growing and evolving landscape
- Proven track record of influencing and guiding business leaders with Technology decisions
- Ability to build and scale global teams from the ground up
- Demonstrated ability to identify, grow and develop top talent

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 240,000 USD - 315,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. We also offer market leading benefit programs including generous PTO, a 401k match up to $7,200 per year, the opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount, and more.
