We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating an exceptional café experience for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and providing outstanding customer service. Your ability to keep up with a clean work environment and memorization of the menu is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including workstations, equipment, and dining areas.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Engage with customers to provide a friendly atmosphere, taking orders, answering questions, and making recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Assist in restocking as necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Skills

  • Experience in the food industry or food service is desirable
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.

Pay: $ $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 24 per week
