Position Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team. In this role, you will primarily serve Independent Living residents, with occasional support in Assisted Living and Healthcare areas. You�ll help create a warm, clean, and safe living environment that promotes dignity and well-being for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks in resident apartments, common areas, and care units per established schedules
  • Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces including floors, windows, fixtures, and bathrooms
  • Empty trash, restock supplies, and maintain cleanliness of housekeeping carts and storage areas
  • Deep clean resident rooms monthly and upon move-out or transfers
  • Assist residents with maintaining their living spaces as needed
  • Follow infection control procedures, universal precautions, and proper use of PPE
  • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to the Environmental Services Director
  • Participate in fire/disaster drills and departmental meetings
  • Ensure work areas are left clean and organized at the end of each shift

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping experience in senior living, skilled nursing, or hospitality settings a plus

Skills & Attributes

  • Friendly, respectful demeanor with a strong interest in serving older adults
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment
  • Capable of handling physical demands including lifting up to 40 lbs, bending, and standing for long periods
  • Follows safety and infection control protocols consistently
