BasicFunction and Responsibility: The Development Data and Operations Associate is an executive support role with specific skills in Blackbaud, or similar donor-data base systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have passion for youth, professional demeanor, proven confidentiality and ability to work with a team.
  • Experience in Blackbaud/Raiser's Edge or equivalent donor management system.
  • Must have expertise on donor list management.
  • Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience required.

Key Skills:

  • Must be highly adaptable and have the ability to prioritize assignments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong skills in project management, database support for donors and grants.
  • Technical computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and data management systems (Raiser's Edge or Blackbaud experience).
  • Strong ability to run reports with attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities:Work collaboratively with the Development and Accounting teams to complete the following responsibilities:

  • Enter and maintain accurate donor, donation, and pledge records in Raiser's Edge.
  • Process gifts and prepare tax acknowledgment letters and donation receipts.
  • Generate donor and fundraising reports as requested.
  • Assist with grant research and reporting.
  • Provide administrative support to the Development team, including calendar and meeting coordination.
  • Support general office management duties, including supply ordering and record maintenance.
  • Research prospective donors, corporations, and foundations.
  • Support donor cultivation and stewardship efforts, including donor communications and follow‑up.
  • Collaborate with Accounting on reporting and reconciliation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions: This position requires the ability to work an adaptable full-time, fast-paced work schedule in the TeamMates National Office (Lincoln). Physical requirements include the ability to engage in repetitive movements, work at a desk in front of a computer for extended periods of time, and occasionally lifting up to 20 pounds.
