Location:TeamMates National Office (121 South 13th Street, Suite #300, Lincoln, NE
BasicFunction and Responsibility: The Development Data and Operations Associate is an executive support role with specific skills in Blackbaud, or similar donor-data base systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have passion for youth, professional demeanor, proven confidentiality and ability to work with a team.
- Experience in Blackbaud/Raiser's Edge or equivalent donor management system.
- Must have expertise on donor list management.
- Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience required.
Key Skills:
- Must be highly adaptable and have the ability to prioritize assignments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong skills in project management, database support for donors and grants.
- Technical computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and data management systems (Raiser's Edge or Blackbaud experience).
- Strong ability to run reports with attention to detail.
Duties and Responsibilities:Work collaboratively with the Development and Accounting teams to complete the following responsibilities:
- Enter and maintain accurate donor, donation, and pledge records in Raiser's Edge.
- Process gifts and prepare tax acknowledgment letters and donation receipts.
- Generate donor and fundraising reports as requested.
- Assist with grant research and reporting.
- Provide administrative support to the Development team, including calendar and meeting coordination.
- Support general office management duties, including supply ordering and record maintenance.
- Research prospective donors, corporations, and foundations.
- Support donor cultivation and stewardship efforts, including donor communications and follow‑up.
- Collaborate with Accounting on reporting and reconciliation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions: This position requires the ability to work an adaptable full-time, fast-paced work schedule in the TeamMates National Office (Lincoln). Physical requirements include the ability to engage in repetitive movements, work at a desk in front of a computer for extended periods of time, and occasionally lifting up to 20 pounds.
