About the Role

Extended Care Services LLC is looking for compassionate, reliable, and patient Respite Care Providers to offer short-term relief to family caregivers. You will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), seniors, or medically fragile adults by ensuring their safety and well-being while providing social and emotional support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide temporary supervision, companionship, and engagement for clients.
  • Support basic daily living needs (meal prep, light homemaking, reminders).
  • Follow individualized support plans to ensure health, safety, and respect for client choices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation through EVV and daily notes.
  • Communicate effectively with family members and agency staff.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Experience working with IDD or elderly individuals preferred but not required.
  • Must complete agency training (QMAP, CPR/First Aid preferred).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Reliable, compassionate, and trustworthy.
  • Must pass required background checks (CAPS & fingerprint).

Schedule & Compensation

  • Flexible shifts — evenings, weekends, and occasional overnights available.
  • Pay range: $19 – $25 per hour based on experience and service type.
  • Mileage reimbursement for community-based support.
