Meta Manufacturing is seeking to hire a Quality Assurance Manager for our plant located in Blue Ash, OH.

General Description:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the Quality Control department to ensure compliance with quality standards and unique customer requirements and continue to improve, assess, and recommend on Meta's quality capabilities and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all organizational activities comply with the applicable government regulations and CNC machining contract requirements
  • Lead the quality auditing process for internal and supplier on-site audits, self-audits, technical audits, and process audits
  • Provide and implement quality plans to monitor and report on quality delays, control and tolerance gages
  • Plan, organize, implement and direct resources to ensure delivery of products that meets quality standards and requirements
  • Optimize use of resources to improve process of meeting quality standards, project schedule and project profitability
  • Order and/or design gages and related equipment, necessary to support quality assurance and develop gage calibration procedures
  • Serve as the Quality Assurance Management Representative for all applicable certifications and audits, including maintenance of ISO certification
  • Identify and provide training and development of employees on latest quality standards and practices

Ideal candidates have the following qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited university or college, or a minimum of 5 years' experience in a related field
  • 5+ years relevant work experience
  • Minimum of Internal Auditor training in ISO
  • Experience operating/programming CMM, using OpenDMIS (Wenzel CMMs)
  • Experience in maintenance and audits of ISO certification
  • Experience handling PPAP submissions
  • Comfortability in compiling quality data collection
  • Highly organized and a strong attention to detail
