The Project Manager is responsible for planning and coordinating all aspects of the construction process. This includes managing subcontractors, contract negotiations, client expectations, dispute resolution, estimating/pricing, material procurement, and schedule production. This position also requires working with the field supervisor on site to make sure the project is on schedule & on budget.

Project Managers should be able to:

  • Thoroughly understand the plans and specifications of a construction project.
  • Plan, direct and coordinate multiple construction projects simultaneously.
  • Provide cost evaluations, develop bids, negotiate contracts, purchase materials, and design project budgets.
  • Represent the company at project meetings, conduct needs assessment, and explain design concerns and cost-effective options.
  • Find the most efficient method of completing the task using known construction methods and techniques.
  • Foresee problems before they develop.
  • Maintain continuous client contact to gauge performance perceptions and communicate relevant information to Project Team.
  • Cultivate and maintain a strong relationship with current and potential clients.
  • Implement and ensure that the project closeout process is done on each job

Position Requrements

  • 3+ years of experience construction estimating/project management preferred.
  • Excellent organizations skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must pass pre-employment screening.
  • Willing to travel and/or work overtime when required.
