Job Summary:

The
SCADA Engineer
will manage and maintain software and hardware supporting Gas SCADA and RTU systems to ensure reliable and continuous operation. This role supports system monitoring and control, develops RTU programming, builds SCADA screens, integrates new technologies, and troubleshoots issues to maintain uninterrupted performance of critical gas distribution systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain software and hardware for Gas SCADA and Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) ensuring reliable operation.
  • Implement and design RTU programming to support field projects and develop screens for
    Aveva Enterprise SCADA 2023
    .
  • Troubleshoot SCADA system issues to ensure uninterrupted Gas SCADA operations essential for distribution system monitoring and control.
  • Evaluate and integrate the latest gas monitoring equipment and telecommunication options.
  • Support all company capital projects requiring SCADA implementation and provide project support through the entire lifecycle until full SCADA commissioning.

Required Skills:

  • Strong SCADA system troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with
    RTU programming
    and SCADA hardware/software maintenance.
  • Ability to integrate and evaluate gas monitoring and telecom equipment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with
    Aveva Enterprise SCADA 2023
    .
  • Knowledge of gas distribution system monitoring and control.
  • Ability to support capital project lifecycles and commissioning activities.

Additional Skills:

  • Developing SCADA screens.
  • Ensuring reliable system operation.
  • Supporting field project requirements.
