Overview:

A well-established advisory firm with global reach in the investment banking space is seeking an Associate (Level I/II) to support the execution of M&A transactions. The role is primarily focused on deal execution (90%) with a smaller mentoring component (10%) involving junior team members.

This is a strong fit for candidates with hands-on deal experience, financial acumen, and leadership potential who are eager to contribute to a high-performing, collaborative team in a remote work setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the development of complex financial models and valuation analyses (DCF, LBO, comps, etc.)
  • Prepare pitch books, marketing materials, and detailed industry research
  • Track M&A activity and private equity trends within target healthcare segments
  • Coordinate due diligence processes and assist in execution of live transactions
  • Identify and evaluate potential strategic and financial acquirers/investors
  • Mentor and review work of Analysts
  • Participate in internal strategy and client meetings as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 3–4 years of M&A investment banking experience with a strong focus on execution
  • Expertise in financial modeling and valuation techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently
  • Familiarity with Capital IQ and experience using AI tools is advantageous
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong leadership potential and team collaboration skills
  • Holds or can obtain SIE and Series 79 licenses within 6 weeks
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • High level of attention to detail, with strong project management capabilities
