Kansas City Orthopaedic Institute is a single specialty orthopedic hospital. We are physician owned, 17 Inpatient Unit beds with 8 state of the art surgical suites. We have been serving the Kansas City area for 25 years. Our hospital offers our staff work life balance, a 1:2 nurse to patient ratio, flexible schedules, Monday through Friday days 8am to 5pm, occasional weekends and holidays, no on-call.

We're seeking an Inpatient Therapist to work PRN on the weekends and can provide vacation coverage. Our Inpatient Physical Therapists provide physical therapy to patients following surgery. Therapists are dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal physical health and return to an active lifestyle. This is a 100% orthopedic case load.

Essential Functions:

  • Patient care, new evaluations and treatment of existing patients
  • Patient and family education
  • Documentation and communication

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist.

Licensing/Education

  • Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program
  • Current CPR certification
  • Current Physical Therapist license in the state of Kansas
